We have 4 different requirements for our 3-credit courses: Read and Respond, Resource Requirement, Application Requirements, and Reflection Requirement. These are shown on our course syllabi.
- Read and Respond provides foundational knowledge and contains 8-10 prompts requiring paragraph long responses.
- The Resource Requirement asks you to research and summarize 2 articles related to your learning in the course.
- The 6 Application Requirements are the heart of the course, asking you to create or plan for application of your learning in the course. This is where your learning really becomes relevant to your professional practice.
- The Reflection Requirement is to reflect on what you've learned and designed, and how the learning has affected your professional practice.
