Gannon University is no longer partnering with Learners Edge to offer Continuing Education Graduate Credit.

Transcripts may still be requested following the process noted below.

Continuing education graduate credit is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal/lane change when the student has obtained proper prior approval.

Grades and Transcripts

Learners Edge does not process transcripts. Please allow 5 business days after receiving your Learners Edge course completion email for your registration information and grade to be available through Gannon University. Please note that this email does not indicate your transcript is ready to be ordered.

Specific Steps/Timelines

  • Transcripts with courses and academic grades for graduate credit are issued by the National Student Clearinghouse on behalf of:
    Gannon University 
    Registrar's Office

  • It is recommended that your completed coursework be submitted to Learners Edge at least 30 days prior to your transcript deadline.
  • Learners Edge will evaluate all coursework within 7-10 business days of its submission to Learners Edge.
  • If you have provided Learners Edge with a valid email address, you will receive an email notification of course completion. If you are registered for multiple courses, you will receive multiple emails of completion.
  • Learners Edge will submit your registration information and grade(s) to Gannon University.
  • Within 5 business days, you should receive an email from Gannon University which included a STUDENT ID number. Please make note of this ID as it will be required when requesting your transcript.
  • After receiving the email from Gannon University, your grade will be available through the National Student Clearinghouse. If you have completed multiple courses, make sure to wait until you have received an email for each course to ensure your transcript is complete. 
  • Gannon has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
  • To order an official transcript(s), login to the Clearinghouse secure site.
    The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A processing fee will be charged per recipient. 
  • Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also track your order online.
  • If you are a certified Pennsylvania educator and would like Act 48 credit for your Learners Edge course, please email with “Act 48” as the subject.  Include your full name, your PPID, your current address, the name of the course, and the exact beginning and ending dates that you participated in the course (find beginning date in your My Edge Page/Order History. Find end date in your My Edge Page/Course History - look for Grade Date). Without this information, your course will not be reported for Act 48 credit.
  • If you would prefer to order a transcript in Person or via Mail through Gannon University, please follow the instructions on the Gannon University website


Tax Information

Students taking Learners Edge courses for credit through Gannon University are considered non-degree seeking students and therefore Gannon University does not provide IRS Form 1098-T. Issuance of IRS Form 1098-T is only provided for degree seeking students. Gannon University encourages students to seek advice from a competent professional tax advisor regarding the taxation implications of education related expenses.
