Illinois educators and school support services personnel may meet license renewal requirements through the successful completion of coursework from a regionally accredited Illinois College or University.

Per ISBE requirements, if you hold one of the following licenses, renewal is required every five years:
Teachers: 120 clock-hours of professional development for licensees holding endorsements in teaching fields, or endorsements for school support personnel. You can meet your 120 clock-hours in a number of ways.

Administrators and Teacher Leaders: 100 clock hours of professional development, plus completion of one Administrators' Academy course each fiscal year of the 5-year renewal cycle. Consider the following courses:
